SpaceX’s Starship Flight 6 Launch Soon
Prepare for the sixth test flight of SpaceX’s Starship, planned for November 19, 2024, at 5 p.m. Eastern Time. This mission is focused on advancing reusable rocket technology, building on the success of catching the Super Heavy booster last month.
Main Goals:
- Successfully catch the booster using the “Mechazilla” arms
- Show the Raptor engine working in space
- Test a better heat shield
- Improve how the rocket comes back to Earth
Starship and Super Heavy: A Big Deal
At 400 feet high, Starship and Super Heavy are the tallest and most powerful rockets in the world. With 33 Raptor engines and six more on the upper stage, this launch system is made for reusable trips to the moon, Mars, and even farther.
NASA Collaboration and Artemis Project
SpaceX’s Starship has been chosen for NASA’s Artemis project, which plans to bring humans back to the moon by 2026. This partnership is a big step forward in space travel.
Launch from SpaceX’s Starbase in South Texas at 9 p.m. GMT (Eastern Time). Watch the launch live on SpaceX’s X account and YouTube channel.
Upcoming Launches to Keep an Eye On:
